- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 c. oil
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 pt. fig preserves (including liquid)
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
Directions

1Mash figs with a potato masher.

2Mix sugar and oil together. Sift all of the dry ingredients.

3Mix all together.

4Bake in a greased and floured pan.

5For the grease, use spray Pam.

6Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
