Ingredients

  • 6 c. figs
  • 3 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Wash figs in warm soda water and rinse well.

    Cut ends off or peel, if preferred.

    Put water and sugar on to boil about 10 minutes.
  4. 4
    Put figs in and cook until syrupy, about 2 hours.
  5. 5
    Put in jars and seal.
