- 3 qt. figs, washed and cut in half
- 6 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. lemon juice (bottled)
Directions

1Put figs in a heavy pot and cover with sugar.

2Let stand overnight.

3Stir well next morning, bring to a boil and cook on medium heat until thick, stirring frequently to prevent sticking. Add lemon juice.

4Mix well.

5Pour hot into hot sterilized jars and seal.
