Ingredients

  • 10 c. mashed figs (I peel off the stem ends)
  • 6 c. sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon (no rind)

Directions

    Put in enamel roaster.

    Mix with wooden spoon.

    Bake in 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
  4. 4
    Stir every 30 minutes with wooden spoon. Do not cover the roaster.
