- 1 Fig (dry or semi-dry)
- 250 grams White flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 tbsp Sugar
- 100 ml Milk
- 100 ml Plain yogurt
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180C.

2Sift all the dry ingredients together.

3Combine the milk and yogurt.

4In a bowl with the sifted dry ingredients, add the fig, cut into bite-sized pieces, and mix lightly.

5Make a well in the center of the bowl and add the milk and yogurt mixture.

6Fold it until incorporated (do not knead).

7Roll the dough into a round shape and place it onto a cookie sheet.

8Dust it with a small amount of cake flour (not listed) with a tea strainer.

9Make a shallow crisscross slit with a slightly wet knife.

10Bake it in the oven for 35 minutes.

11Lower the temperature to 170C and bake another 10 minutes and it is done.

12Insert a toothpick in the center.

13If dough sticks on it, bake a little longer.
