- 1 cup cake mix, chocolate prepare as directed on the box
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large eggs
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions

1Combine filling ingredients in medium-size bowl.

2Fill each cupcake liner 1/2 full with cake batter.

3Add spoonful of filling.

4Bake 350F.

5Approximately 30 minutes or until cake springs back when pressed.

6When cooled, frost with vanilla powdered sugar frosting if desired.

7Makes approximately 24 cupcakes.
