  • 16 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 lb. butter or margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. vanilla
  • canned fruit filling (I use apricot or prune)
  • 2 1/2 c. flour

Directions

    Cream together cream cheese, butter and vanilla.

    Add flour. Mix well.

    Let set 1 hour in refrigerator.

    Roll in more flour to about 1/4 inch thick.

    Cut in 2-inch squares.

    Fill with desired filling.

    Fold two opposite corners together.

    Leave other two corners flat.

    Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes, until lightly brown.

    Dust with powdered sugar.
