- 3 lb. small chicken wings
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
Directions

1Divide wings in half at joint and cut off and discard tips. Place in single layer on rack in broiler pan.

2Bake 30 minutes at 400°.

3Turn once.

4Mix dry ingredients in saucepan.

5Stir in water, lemon juice and soy sauce.

6Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and boil 3 minutes.

7Brush part over chicken wings.

8Continue baking, turning and basting several times, for 40 minutes or until richly glazed.
