   Dissolve the starch in a small amount of cold water, to make paste.

   Then add the boiling water.

   Cook the mixture until it becomes clear, stirring constantly.

   Remove the pan from the stove and add the soap flakes.

   Stir until the flakes are dissolved. Pour some of the mixture into as many jars as you want colors. Add food coloring to the mixture in each jar to make the colors you want.
