- 1 large (3 to 4-inches across top) onion per serving
- 1/8-inch slice butter (per slice of onion)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Skin the onion and slice from top until almost through the bottom.

3Slices should be approximately 1/4-inch thick.

4Place the 1/8-inch butter pat between each slice. Wrap each prepared onion in aluminum foil and twist the top closed.

5Place in a baking pan for approximately 1 hour or until soft when lightly squeezed.
