  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/8 c. white sugar
  • 2 1/2 sticks oleo
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/8 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/8 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 3/4 c. oatmeal
  • 1 small pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. nut meats

Directions

    Cream the brown sugar, white sugar and oleo.

    Add the eggs, vanilla, flour, salt and baking powder.

    Mix real well.

    Add oatmeal, chocolate chips and nut meats.

    Mix well.

    Drop on greased cookie sheet, using a teaspoon to measure.

    Bake at 375° until flat and brown.
