- 3 lb. boneless fish (cod)
- 12 c. raw cubed potatoes
- 6 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. chopped carrots
- 3/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 (13 oz.) cans evaporated milk
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- parsley for green
- 3 c. chopped onion
- 3 tsp. salt
- 6 c. regular milk
Directions

1Combine potatoes, water, onions, carrots, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.

2Simmer 10 minutes, then stir in fish.

3Cook, covered, for 10 minutes.

4Stir in 4 cups of milk and evaporated milk until smooth.

5Blend remaining milk with flour and stir into chowder.

6Cook until thick and bubbly.

7Garnish with parsley before serving.

8Serves 12.
