Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 2) can kidney beans
  • 1 (No. 2) can green beans
  • 1 (No. 2) can wax beans
  • 1 (No. 2) can pinto beans
  • 1 (No. 2) can black beans
  • 1 small onion, peeled and sliced in rings
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. red bell pepper strips
  • 1/2 c. green bell pepper strips
  • 1/2 c. miniature carrots cut in strips
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 3/4-1 c. sugar

Directions

    Wash red and green bell peppers and carrots, cut into strips and set aside.

    Wash onions and celery.

    Set aside.

    Remove strings from celery, chop and set a side.

    Drain beans and rinse. Combine vinegar, 1/2 c. salad oil, and 3/4 cup sugar.

    Salt and pepper to taste.
