Ingredients

  • 1 cup cereal or oats
  • 1 cup all purpose flour + 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup dried fruit of your choice, chopped if large
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup milk

Directions

    Heat oven to 180 C.

    Spray/butter/oil a loaf tin.
  3. 3
    Mix all ingedients in a large bowl.

    Pour mixture into loaf tin.

    Bake for 1 hour, or until a skewer or toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.

    Remove from the oven, allow to cool in the tin for 10 minutes.

    Turn out onto a wire rack and continue to cool.

    Serve slices with or withour your choice of topping...butter, jam, etc.

    A cup of tea would be nice!
