  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. each: vanilla, rum, coconut, lemon and butter flavoring

Directions

    Cream butter and shortening; add sugar.

    Cream until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each.

    Sift flour and baking powder; add a little at a time with milk.

    Stir in flavoring.

    Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
