- 2 lb. beef, cubed
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 c. celery and tops, chopped
- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 c. tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. chopped parsley
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. tapioca
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. dry red wine
- 1 can water chestnuts
- 1 can mushrooms
- 2 cans whole potatoes
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together; cover and bake at 250° for 4 hours.

2Add 1 can water chestnuts, drained, 1 can drained mushrooms and drained potatoes.

3Bake an additional hour.
