Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef, cubed
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 1 c. celery and tops, chopped
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 2 c. canned tomatoes
  • 1 c. tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. dry red wine
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 2 cans whole potatoes

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together; cover and bake at 250° for 4 hours.

    Add 1 can water chestnuts, drained, 1 can drained mushrooms and drained potatoes.

    Bake an additional hour.
