- 2 lb. beef stew meat
- 6 medium potatoes, diced into large pieces
- 6 carrots, diced into large pieces
- 6 stalks celery, diced into large pieces
- 1 green pepper, diced into large pieces
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 3 tsp. sugar
- 3 tsp. tapioca
- 1 large can V-8 juice
Directions

1Put first five ingredients into a large roasting pan.

2Mix next four ingredients, sprinkle on top of the meat and vegetables. Do not mix.

3Pour V-8 juice over the stew.

4Bake 5 hours at 250°.
