  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 c. milk (not 3)
  • 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
  • 5 to 6 bananas
  • 1 large box vanilla wafers
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 13 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

    Melt sugar in a heavy skillet until golden brown.

    Pour into a 1-quart souffle dish and tilt it immediately to coat the bottom and sides with caramel.

    Beat eggs, adding sugar gradually, until thick and pale.

    Heat milk, add flavorings, then slowly pour into egg mixture.

    Gently pour into caramelined dish and bake in a pan of hot water at 325° about 1 hour or until set.
