  • 1 1/2 cup Beer (MGD recommended)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 cup flour

  • 1 medium onion
  • 8 oz creme freiche

    You can use either style dough.

    I found that with a brick oven at higher tempatures, the beer flat bread recipe works better.

    The pizza dough works better in a convection oven.

    For beer flat bread: mix flour, salt and beer together.

    roll into large ball.

    use rolling pin with lightly floured into a large circle.

    For pizza dough: add 1 tbsp yeast to 1 1/3 cup warm water.

    Let soften for 10 minutes.

    add egg, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp sugar (white), mix in bowl.

    add 4 cups of flour to yeast mixture.

    let rise 30, punch down, rise another 30.

    roll dough out pizza style

    carmelize onion with sprinkle of olive oil

    lightly brown bacon

    poor creme freiche onto pizza dough.

    season creme with 1 tbsp salt, 1/2 tbsp black pepper, 1 tbsp nutmeg

    preheat oven to 450F
