- 3 oz. butter
- 3 oz. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. dark Karo syrup
- 5 oz. Quaker oats
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Grease 8-inch cake tin.

3Cut butter into 4 parts and melt in saucepan with sugar and syrup; stir well with wooden spoon.

4Remove from heat and add oats; stir well.

5Spoon mixture into cake tin and put into oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven and leave to cool for 25 minutes.

6Cut into 8 or 12 pieces; lift out and leave until cold.

7Store in airtight container.
