- 1 pt. milk plus a little more
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
- ripe bananas, sliced
Directions

1Mix flour and a little milk together to make a thickening. Beat in the egg yolks.

2Heat the milk and sugar.

3Stir in the flour and egg mixture. Cook only until mixture coats the spoon. Add a pinch of salt and vanilla.

4Pour half the mixture into a dish. Slice bananas over the top to cover.

5Use the rest of the mixture to cover the bananas.

6Beat egg whites until stiff and cover the top from edge to edge.

7Bake 5 to 10 minutes in oven at 425°.

8Refrigerate.
