Ingredients

  • 60g butter
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 1/2 cups corn flakes, lightly crushed
  • 125g packet (1 cup) flaked almonds, toasted
  • 3/4 cup sultanas
  • 100g packet (1/2 cup) red glace cherries, roughly chopped
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 200g TOBLERONE* Milk or Dark Chocolate, melted

Directions

    Combine the butter, sugar and honey in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until sugar dissolves.

    Combine the corn flakes, almonds, sultanas, cherries and flour in a large bowl.

    Add the butter mixture and mix until well combined.

    Place tablespoons of mixture onto lined baking trays, allowing room for some spreading.

    Bake at 180C for 8 minutes or until golden.

    Allow to cool completely on trays (when cool enough to touch, gently push florentines into round shapes).

    Drizzle or spread the cooled florentines with melted Toblerone* and allow to set.
