- 1 dessert spoon butter
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour, sifted
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- milk
Directions

1Cream together the lard, butter and sugar.

2Add eggs, well beaten, then dry ingredients, with enough milk to make a stiff batter.

3Put in well-greased muffin tins.

4Bake in hot oven at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes.

5Yields 1 1/2 dozen.
