- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. milk, scalded and cooled
- 1/2 c. oil
- 4 c. unsifted flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water with a little sugar.

2Add sugar, oil, soda and beaten eggs.

3Mix all ingredients well.

4Add flour and mix again.

5Cover in greased bowl and let stand overnight.

6Next morning, on floured board, divided into 3 balls.

7Roll each ball to pie crust size, 1/2 inch thick.

8Cut these into 12 wedges and roll up starting at wide end.

9Place on greased cookie sheet, 1 inch apart.

10Let these raise 2 hours or longer.

11Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.
