  • 1- 3/4 cup Water Or Broth
  • 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1 cup Well-rinsed, Uncooked Rice
  • Salt And Pepper

    In a medium-sized saucepan, bring the water or broth to a boil.

    In another medium-sized pan over medium heat, combine olive oil and garlic.

    Stir for 30 seconds.

    Add the rinsed uncooked rice and mix everything together.

    Pour the boiled water/broth into the rice mixture.

    Add salt and pepper.

    Reduce heat to medium/low, cover and simmer until tender and all the liquids are absorbed, about 15 or 20 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    After cooking, let the rice rest for a total of five minutes.

    After that time you can remove the cover, fluff and separate the grains with a fork.
