- 1- 3/4 cup Water Or Broth
- 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1 cup Well-rinsed, Uncooked Rice
- Salt And Pepper
Directions

1In a medium-sized saucepan, bring the water or broth to a boil.

2In another medium-sized pan over medium heat, combine olive oil and garlic.

3Stir for 30 seconds.

4Add the rinsed uncooked rice and mix everything together.

5Pour the boiled water/broth into the rice mixture.

6Add salt and pepper.

7Reduce heat to medium/low, cover and simmer until tender and all the liquids are absorbed, about 15 or 20 minutes.

8Remove from heat.

9After cooking, let the rice rest for a total of five minutes.

10After that time you can remove the cover, fluff and separate the grains with a fork.
