- 2 carrots
- 2 small white onions
- 2 shallots or green onions
- 2 celery stalks
- butter or margarine
- salt and pepper
- 6 trout
- cooking oil
Directions

1Chop the vegetables fine and saute them in 1/4 cup butter until tender.

2Add salt and pepper to taste.

3Split and clean the trout; stuff each with the vegetables.

4Dot with butter and place 3 inches from the broiler.

5Broil 4 minutes.

6Season with salt and pepper. Place fish in foil.

7Crimp edges of foil to seal.

8Oil the foil. Place on buttered cookie sheets and bake at 425° for 15 to 18 minutes.
