- 2 c. plain flour
- 1 c. butter, cut up
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. almond
- 2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
Directions

1In food processor, combine flour, butter, pecans, 1/2 cup sugar, salt, vanilla and almond.

2Process well.

3Refrigerate, covered, for 1 hour.

4Preheat oven to 350°.

5Shape dough into balls, using 1 tablespoon each.

6Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

7Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until set but not brown. Let stand 1 minute.

8Place hot cookies in the 2 cups sugar; roll to coat each cookie.

9Cool completely; roll again.

10Keep in airtight container.
