- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 36 (2 x 2-inch) saltine crackers
- 11 1/2 oz. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1In small saucepan over medium heat, blend butter and brown sugar.

2Heat to boiling and boil for 4 minutes.

3Cover 10 x 15-inch jelly pan with foil and butter lightly.

4Place single layer of crackers on foil close together.

5Pour butter mixture over crackers, spreading evenly.

6Bake at 375° for 5 minutes.
