- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- dash of salt
- 3 egg whites
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Mix first three ingredients and cook until clear.

2Set aside. Add salt to egg whites and whip until foamy or standing in peaks. Add to the first mixture. Continue beating until creamy.

3Add 6 tablespoons sugar gradually, beating again until very creamy. Pile on pie.

4Bake at 325° for 30 minutes or until brown.
