- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 3 egg whites
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- vanilla
- dash of salt
Directions

1Blend cold water and cornstarch.

2Add to boiling water and cook until clear and thick.

3Remove from heat.

4Beat egg whites until foamy.

5Add sugar gradually.

6Beat until stiff, not dry. Add cornstarch mixture.

7Beat at high speed until thick; spread on pie.

8Bring meringue all the way to edges of crust.

9Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
