  • 4 c. flour, spooned lightly in cup
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 3/4 c. shortening (lard, margarine or Crisco)
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 large egg

Directions

    Mix first three ingredients, then cut in shortening.

    Beat water, vinegar and egg together and add to other ingredients until moist.
