  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 3/4 c. shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients; add shortening and mix with fork until mixture looks like fine cornmeal, then add to egg, water and vinegar.

    Shape into 4 balls and chill before rolling.
