- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. lemon or chocolate pie filling
- whipped cream
Directions

1Heat oven to 450°.

2Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt until foamy.

3Add sugar slowly; beat to a very stiff meringue. Grease 9 x 13-inch Pyrex pan.

4Add meringue.

5Place in oven; turn off the heat immediately.

6Do not open door.

7Leave in oven overnight.
