  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. lemon extract

Directions

    Cream butter and Crisco. Add sugar, then add eggs, one at a time. Blend after each egg. Sift flour twice and add alternately with milk. Add baking powder and lemon extract. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake in preheated oven at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
