  • 8 eggs
  • 5 to 6 c. pecans
  • 2 c. English walnuts
  • 1 c. black walnuts
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. self-rising flour

    Beat egg whites; set aside.

    Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks and beat well.

    Gradually add sifted flour and vanilla; beat for 3 minutes.

    Then add egg whites while beating and add nuts. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 35 minutes in tube pan.
