- 2 c. English walnuts
- 1 c. black walnuts
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Beat egg whites; set aside.

2Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks and beat well.

3Gradually add sifted flour and vanilla; beat for 3 minutes.

4Then add egg whites while beating and add nuts. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 35 minutes in tube pan.
