  • 2 qt. thinly sliced cukes
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. vinegar

Directions

    Mix the first 3 ingredients.

    Refrigerate, covered, for 24 hours.

    Drain.

    Add the sugar, dissolved in the vinegar.

    Store in fridge indefinitely, or put in containers and freeze.
