- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water (105~)
- 1 3/4 c. warm water (120~)
- 2 Tbsp. nonfat dry milk
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 5 1/2 to 6 c. flour
Directions

1Mix well, then rest for 10 minutes.

2Knead for 10 minutes more, working flour in well.

3Grease well.

4Let rise until double. Punch down and knead for 30 seconds longer, letting it rise again.

5Divide dough in half.

6Brush on water, then coarse salt. Slash top with razor blade or sharp knife.

7Bake at 400° for 45 minutes with pan with water on bottom rack.
