- 1/4 c. melted oleo
- 2 c. milk
- 3/4 c. water
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. honey or sugar
- 2 pkg. yeast
Directions

1Heat the first 3 ingredients to lukewarm.

2Beat all the above ingredients for 2 minutes.

3Add 2 more cups flour and beat 2 minutes more.

4Now, stir in enough flour to make a stiff dough (usually about 1 1/2 more cups).

5Knead about 8 minutes.

6Let rise in bowl.

7Then turn out on floured counter and let rest about 20 minutes.

8Shape into 3 long loaves; place on greased baking sheet and let rise until double.

9Then bake at 375° about 30 minutes.

10If you like a harder crust, bake 45 minutes.
