- 6 cups All-purpose Flour
- 5 teaspoons Instant Active Dry Yeast
- 1/3 cups Sugar
- 1/4 cups Dry (powdered) Milk
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2-1/2 cups Warm Water
- 1/4 cups Vegetable Oil
- 1 whole Egg White
- 1 Tablespoon Water
Directions

1In bowl combine: 2 cups of flour, yeast, sugar, milk, and salt and stir. Add water and oil and beat for 2 minutes. Add remaining flour (4 cups) and knead until smooth and elastic.

2Let it rise in lukewarm place for 30 minutes.

3Divide the dough in half; and then divide each half into 3 portions. Roll each portion into a long rope and place on a greased baking sheet.

4Braid the three pieces together and repeat with the other 3 portions. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.

5Beat the egg white and water and brush onto each loaf.

6Bake at 375 degrees (F) for 25-30 minutes or golden brown .
