French Bread Dip

  • 12 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 bunches green onions, chopped (white part of onion only)
  • 1/4 c. oleo
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 2 c. grated cheese
  • 1 c. real mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • French bread

Directions

    Saute garlic and onions in oleo.

    Mix well with cream cheese, sour cream and cheese.

    Mix with mayonnaise.

    Add salt and pepper. Dig out French bread and cut into cubes.

    Fill shell with dip. Wrap in foil and bake for 2 hours at 275°.

    Serve with reserved bread cubes or chips.
