  • 1 lb. carrots, cut lengthwise in fourths
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. cooking oil
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Put oil in 2-quart pan.

    Add no water.

    Add carrots, then onions over carrots.

    Sprinkle sugar, salt and pepper over all. Add butter.

    Cover and cook until tender on low heat.
