  • 12 baby zwieback cookies, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

    Mix butter and crushed zwieback in bottom of spring-form pan. Mix cream cheese, eggs, 1 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla with electric mixer. Pour into spring-form pan on top of zwiebacks. Cook for 20 minutes at 350° or longer if necessary to set, then add next layer. Combine sour cream, 3 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and pour over cooked cheesecake. Return to the oven at 475° for 15 minutes. Cool and refrigerate for a few hours.
