- 2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 oz. sweet chocolate
- 4 beaten egg yolks
- 3/4 c. heavy cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. brandy (optional)
Directions

1Stir and scald milk, sugar and chocolate.

2Pour part of these ingredients over egg yolks.

3Return the sauce to the pan.

4Stir custard constantly over low heat until it thickens.

5Strain it. Cool by placing the pan in cold water.

6In separate bowl, whip until stiff the cream.

7Add vanilla and brandy.

8Fold cold custard into cream mixture until well blended.

9Fill custard cups with pudding.

10Chill before serving.
