  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced thin
  • 1 c. mashed potatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pastry (double crust)
  • 2 lb. ground meat (hamburg, pork, etc.)
  • 2 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten (optional)

Directions

    In skillet, heat oil over medium heat.

    Saute onion until tender.

    Remove and set aside.

    Brown meat.

    Drain.

    Combine all ingredients, except pastry.
