- 1 deep dish frozen pie crust
- 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can French fried onion rings
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 c. shredded medium sharp cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of cayenne
Directions

1Fill frozen crust with 1 1/2 cups fried onion rings; reserve remaining 1/2 cup for garnish.

2Beat eggs slightly; add milk, 1/2 cup cheese, salt and cayenne.

3Pour over onions in pie shell. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese.

4Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes. Sprinkle reserved onions around edge of pie.

5Bake 5 to 10 minutes longer.

6Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
