French Pork Pie

  • 2 pie shells
  • 1 1/2 lb. fresh ground pork
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp. cloves
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 large potato, cooked and mashed

    Put pork, onion and spices in pan with water to cover ingredients.

    Bring to a boil.

    Simmer 30 to 40 minutes.

    Drain liquid and save. Add mashed potato and liquid until moist.

    Cool; put in pie shell.

    Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until crust is brown.

    Check at 30 minutes.
