Deviled Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 c. minced shrimp (1 lb.)
  • 2 tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. melted butter (a little less)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (a little more)
  • Dash cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. evaporated lowfat milk or possibly cream
  • 3 hard boiled Large eggs, chopped or possibly sliced
  • 1 c. buttered bread crumbs

Directions

    Saute/fry onion till lightly browned.

    Add in shrimp and all the seasonings (except Worcestershire sauce) and the flour.

    Stir well.

    Add in lowfat milk and cook slowly till thick, stirring constantly.

    Add in egg and Worcestershire sauce.

    Put in greased baker, sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake 10 to 15 min in warm oven.
