Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon (if desired)
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 4 to 6 slices bread

Directions

    Heat griddle to medium (340°).

    In shallow bowl or pie pan, combine all ingredients except margarine and bread.

    Mix well. Melt margarine on griddle.

    Dip bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides.

    Cook on griddle over medium heat about 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

    If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
