  • 1 c. oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. flour
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (pecans or black walnuts)
  • 3 c. chopped unpeeled apples

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix all ingredients together (batter will be very stiff) and pour into 9 x 14-inch pan and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 340°. Remove from oven and poke holes over entire cake.

    Pour glaze over cake and smooth so it goes into the holes.

    (This is done on hot cake.)
