  • 3 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 3 c. diced, peeled apples
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

    Combine and mix the first 11 ingredients in order.

    Add the apples and pecans to the mixture.

    Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

    Place cake in pan in a brown paper bag until cooled.
